Forward trenches, 10 june 1915
[Thursday]
Dear family!
Since I last wrote I received
parcels 149 and 151. Many thanks.
Sadly I don’t have time to write
extensively. We have a lot of work to do, and you’re glad you can sleep a
little in the few free minutes that you have. Nothing special is going on here.
It’s hard work in this rainy weather.
By the way I forgot Else’s birthday.
Please congratulate her from me.
I’ll write a lengthier letter when
we go to the reserve-trenches the day after tomorrow.
Till then, with many warm greetings
Your Fritz
